On Sunday, October 8th, from 11am to 2pm, is our 2nd Annual Il Fornaio/ Team Kids event, with this year's theme being, "Irvine Celebrates America's Promise to Youth", hosted again by Il Fornaio Restaurant in Irvine.

This event will highlight the accomplishments of some of our community partners and Irvine's finest residents, those devoted to serving and empowering our youth. A fabulous brunch will be served, entertainment will be abound and adults and kids alike, will have a great time!

In 2005, America’s Promise, a national organization founded by General Colin L. Powell (USA, Ret.), honored Irvine as one of “100 Best Communities for Young People”. They believe that all children deserve to live in a community that offers A Healthy Start, Safe Places, Opportunity to Help Others, Caring Adults and Effective Education. America’s Promise selected Irvine as one such community that embodies these 5 Promises and they understand the mission of Team Kids, constantly delivering essential resources and effective programs directly to Irvine’s youth. Senior VP's from America's Promise will be in attendance to witness first hand the amazing community that is Irvine.
